UPU Youth resolves crisis, passes vote of confidence on Omoko leadership

The Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Youth wing has revealed that the lingering crisis that has been brewing within its fold has been amicably resolved.

The group made this known to journalists after its executive meeting held on August 27, 2019 at Urhobo Cultural Center, Uwiamuge-Agbarho, disclosing that all in attendance resolved to work together, support and queue behind the President General, Comrade Nicholas Omoko.

The youth body also promised to work with Omoko-led leadership to bring the much-needed development to the people of Urhoboland, especially the Urhobo youths, just as they vowed to sanction any EXCO member who indulges in any act capable of bringing disunity.

On his part, Comrade Omoko reassured his executives for the continuation of his selfless to all. He noted that he would continue to run all inclusive administration and be transparent, appealed to all and sundry to support him to enable succeed.

The Urhobo youth leader also commended the Delta State governor,  Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for making Urhobo Youths partners in his government and his determination to develop Urhobo land, especially the fencing and reconstruction of the Urhobo Cultural Centre, Uvwiamuge-Agbarho
