A deafening twin explosion has shaken Maiduguri, capital of Borno State in Nigeria’s troubled North-East region.
A report from Maiduguri said the explosions, believed to be the handiwork of Boko haram terrorists, went off around 7 O’clock this morning
It is not yet clear if there were casualties.
If confirmed, this would be the third bombing camping this week by Boko Haram,following the earlier ones in Potiskum in neighbouring Yobe State on Monday and the one in Kontagora,Niger State, two days after.
