Navy arrests American, 3 Greek pirates trying to hijack Nigerian vessel

The Nigeria Navy on Saturday arrested a man described as a dangerous American criminal while trying to hijack a Nigerian vessel for ransom, a breaking news published this evening by Saturday Independent said.

The man, whose name was not disclosed, was arrested “with his three Greek pirates and their accomplices,” the report said.

No further details were immediately given.
