One of News Express senior editors, Garba Muhammad, has been selected as one of the international journalist-guests of the Saudi Monarch, King Salman Bin Abdulazeez, the Custodian of two Holy Mosques, during the ongoing 2019 Hajj.

Garba Muhammad, a Hajj reporting veteran and Regional Editor of News Express in North-West Nigeria, is one of the 120 international journalist selected as guests of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.

Only 10 of them have been selected as guests of King Salman Bin Abdulazeez in his Mina Palace.

As reported by Wikipedia, “Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has been King of Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques since 23 January 2015. He was the Deputy Governor of Riyadh and later the Governor of Riyadh for 48 years from 1963 to 2011. He was then appointed Minister of Defense.”
