Queen Elizabeth honours 20-year-old Nigerian for raising $2m for African project

Nigerian-born Kennedy Ekezie has been honoured by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom for engaging in a worthwhile venture of raising over $2 million to mentor young Africans.

Ekezie, 20, from Imo State, Eastern Nigeria, raised the fund targeting young Africans all over the world, according to Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

According to Dabiri-Erewa on @abikedabiri, “Imo State-born Kennedy Ekezie gets honoured by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

“The 20-year-old Nigerian was honoured for raising over $2 million worth of grants to start a mentorship programme for young Africans all over the world,” Dabiri-Erewa said. (Independent)
