Pan Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere led by Chief Reuben Fasoranti, on Tuesday, described the faction led by Pa Ayo Fasanmi as traitors in Yorubaland who are unfit to be referred to as members of Afenifere.

Recall that the Fasanmi-led group, which includes Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Chief Segun Osoba, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, Sen. Adedayo Adeyeye and others visited President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday

Reacting to the visit, Yinka Odumakin, National Publicity Secretary of Afenifere, said the Aso Rock visitors were not members of the organisation but rather, leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the South-West.

“That was not Afenifere that met with Buhari. Bola Tinubu and his group are just members of APC South-West and if they have any dignity, they could never have called themselves Afenifere” Odumakin said. (Independent)
