Presiding Overseer of Christ Holy Mountain Int’l, Lagos, Apostle Sediq X Moses, has urged Nigerians to stop putting blames or pointing accusing fingers on the nation. He advised that they should rather pray for peace and unity in the country, adding: “Your business in your country should be blessed and should be a blessing to you; don’t use your lips to curse the land you are, hence you will also be affected.”

Apostle Moses, the convener of the National Prayer Summit, advised declared during a recent service that President Muhammadu Buhari is not the problem of Nigeria. “Change Buhari, more corrupt leaders will emerge, adding that we should stop using our mouth to curse this nation.

“Ability to pray for our leaders will make us a blessed country. It is God that placed him there as the President of this great country,” he said.

The cleric quoted from the Scriptures, saying: “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”

“So, if the people of God who are called by his name are not ready to humble themselves and to do what is right – this is what will happen to the land: the economy of the land will begin to shake; will begin to sink, the people will begin to sink, businesses will begin to sink and a lot of people will start murmuring. First, they begin to ask God: who is the major prophet? Truly, you need to find out from God who is the major prophet that God has sent to oversee the affairs of the world. From there, you can always run to him to inquire of what God is saying concerning our lives. That is, not running from one prophet to the other; we know there must be prophets.

“At a point in time before the flood, they had Noah as prophet, but nobody wanted to listen to him; that was why flood came and consumed them. Anytime you refuse to listen to the voice of your major prophet, there will be flood, there will be economic oppression. And that is the problem of Nigeria: everybody wants to become a major prophet, nobody wants to find out who is God pointing at, even at this time. If we begin to love our neighbours as ourselves, all the disagreement and jealousy will disappear.”

On the 2019 polls, Apostle Moses said: “Prior to the just-concluded 2019 General Election, God revealed to me on the state of the nation and I revealed it among press journalists that Atiku has the winning grace, but not with mercy; but Buhari has the winning grace, has mercy and the flag. Ninety-nine per cent of the men of God in Nigeria did not support Buhari during the last general election. No matter the prayers against him, he will still end up being the president of this country.”
