Immediate past Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, has been sworn-in as Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District.

Senate President Ahmed Lawan conducted the swearing-in ceremony on Thursday plenary after which Okorocha signed necessary documents and took his seat at the upper chamber of parliament.

News Express reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday obeyed a court order by issuing a Certificate of Return to the former governor, as the winner of the Imo West Senatorial District election.
