Air Peace Airlines Spokesman Chris Iwarah dies in road accident

Mr. Christian Iwarah, the Corporate Communications Manager of Air Peace Airlines, is dead.

Iwarah, a former Judicial correspondent of Daily Independent and The Sun newspapers, died on Friday from injuries sustained after a bus ran into him at Mangoro Bus-stop along the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos.

An eyewitness said Iwarah had parked his car to fix a fault at the bus-stop when a commercial bus believed to have had a brake failure knocked him down.

Report has it that the impact subsequently destroyed his car.

Mr. Chris Iwarah, Corporate Communications Manager of Air Peace, has died from injuries sustained in a road accident.

A Facebook user, Amahwe Juliet, who identified herself as the deceased’s sister wrote: “R.I.P brother, this pain in my heart is too heavy….this is painful and sad news tonight….

“My heart is broken as my elder brother (from paternal) just lost his life at his prime… Rest on Christian Iwarah.” (NAN)
