One unreplied goal in each half minutes ago crowned favourites Liverpool as the 2019 winners of the European Champions League after beating Tottenham Hotspurs 2-0 in an all-England final in Madrid, Spain.

The crowd at the packed stadium had hardly settled down when a menacing Mane Salah flipped the ball onto the right hand of Spurs defender Sisoko. Mohammed Salah stepped forward in the second minute of play to dispatch the ball and give Liverpool the lead.

Substitute Divock Origi sealed the win for Liverpool in the 87th minute, firing in low and hard, into the bottom corner.
