Buhari commissions Ogun State Judicial Complex, other projects

President Muhammadu Buhari was earlier today in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital in Southwest Nigeria, to unveil some capital projects of the outgoing Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Some of the projects have been christened “Legacy Projects.”

His presidential chopper NAF 540 touched down at Arcade Ground, State Secretariat, Oke-Mosan at exactly 10:18am (local time).

President Buhari was received by Amosun, Governors Akinwunmi Ambode (Lagos); Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti ) and Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo).

Some of the projects commissioned include the Judicial Complex, Amphi-Theatre in the City Centre and the renovated old Governor’s office.Other s are the 250 bedded ultramodern hospital  and the Ogun State Television Digital studio.

Our correspondent who went around the state capital this morning, observed that security agents have manned strategic places in the capital city where large number of those projects are sited. (Voice of Nigeria)
