BREAKING NEWS: Buhari confirms Adamu Mohammed as Police IG

President Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed the Acting Inspector General of Police, Adamu Mohammed as the new Inspector General of police.

The confirmation was announced on Thursday afternoon at the Nigeria Police Council meeting in Abuja which had President Buhari in attendance.

Adamu was appointed Acting IGP on January 15, 2019 when he took over from then IGP Ibrahim Idris.
