The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, May 15, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region throughout the forecast period with chances of thunderstorms over Sokoto, Kano, and Zaria axis in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 38 – 41℃ and 23 – 26℃ respectively.

 CENTRAL STATES: Cloudy conditions are expected in the morning with exceptions of Jalingo, Ibi, Lafia and Markurdi where thunderstorms are likely. Later in the day, widespread thunderstorms are anticipated. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 28 – 37℃ and 20 – 28℃.

 SOUTHERN STATES: Thunderstorms are likely over this region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 34℃ and 20 – 22℃respectively.
