Nigeria Immigration Service NIS has introduced Web-based visa on arrival. This was contained in a statement issued earlier today and signed by the Service Public Relations Officer, Deputy Comptroller Immigration Sunday James, for the Comptroller general of Immigration. The statement read:  "The Nigeria Immigration Service wishes to notify the general public that effective from today Monday 13th May, 2019, it has migrated to a Web-Based portal for application for Visa on Arrival facility. 2. Prior to the introduction of the Web-Based Visa on Arrival, applicants were expected to forward application via email or hard copy to the Comptroller General for approval, but with the Web-Based regime, applicants will only be required to log onto www.immigration.gov.ng where they can apply for the facility, make payment and receive approval online. 3. The Comptroller General of Immigration Muhammad Babandede, MFR, hereby calls on genuine investors to take advantage of the innovation as it improves migration and transparency in the system in line with the Federal Government’s policy of Ease of Doing Business."  (PRNigeria)
