The Coalition of Progressive Political Parties (COP3), Osun State chapter, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for signing N30,000 Minimum Wage Bill into law.

The commendation was contained in a release issued in Osogbo over the weekend, signed by the Chairman, Mr. Wole Adedoyin, and Secretary, Elder Adeloye Ogunmodede.

According to Osun COP3, “We want to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari for assenting to the Bill on the National Minimum Wage. We are also using the opportunity to thank the House of Senate members and the House of representative members for scrutinising and supporting the bill right from day one”.

COP3 however advised the Federal Government to look for ways of spreading the Value Added Tax (VAT) net than increasing it and to create environment that would enable the productive sector to thrive.
