The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, April 7, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy and sunny condition is envisaged over this region during the morning hours with chances of localised thundery activity over the North-West during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 41 – 43 and 24– 27 respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are likely over this region throughout the forecast period except over Mambila axis where localised thunderstorms are likely. As the day progresses there are chances of where localised thunderstorms over Southern Kaduna, Minna, Abuja, Makurdi, Lafia, Bauchi, Jos, during the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 36– 41 and 22 – 28 respectively.

SOUTHERN STATES: Cloudy condition is anticipated over this region during the morning hours except over Obudu, Ogoja and Ikom axis where slim chances of localised thunderstorms are likely. Scattered thunderstorms are anticipated over this region during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are to be in the range of 33 – 38 and 22 – 30 respectively.
