UNILAG commences 50th convocation programme

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has commenced its 50th convocation ceremony. 

The programme which kicked off on Monday, April 1, in Akoka Lagos State, started off with a convocation lecture which had Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as its keynote speaker.

Others present at the occasion were the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru Usani; Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi; Chairman Channels Media Group, John Momoh; a former Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Arthur Mbanefo among others.

The week-long event will see a line-up of other activities and is expected to come to a close on April 5.
