A Yola-based human right activist, Alhaji Baba Suleiman Jada, the Ubandoma Jada of Adamawa State, has warned President Muhammadu Buhari not to spare the rod in dealing with those around him if they are found guilty of corruption.

He said until the President deals severely with members of the so-called cabal, the vigorous campaign against corruption by the President will not be taken seriously.

Alhaji Jada made the appeal in a statement he released why congratulating the President on his re-election.

He noted that Buhari’s re-election was a deserved one. He charged that the President must now devote his time in dealing with insecurity, corruption, nepotism, ethnicity and ensure unity in the country generally. He revealed that by his findings there were many corrupt people surrounding the President at the State house in Abuja.

“Mr. President, please fish out those corrupt elements around you and deal with them accordingly. In this new dispensation there must not be sacred cows. Like most Nigerians I trust you,” Alhaji Jada concluded.
