Shock and disbelief have greeted the death of celebrated scholar, Prof. Pius Adesanmi, in today’s Ethiopian Air plane crash.

There have been an outpouring of condolences on social media, especially on Prof. Adesanmi’s Facebook Page, where his last update made at 6:56 AM yesterday, Saturday, March 9, 2019, reads:

“If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me - Psalm 139:9-10.”
