Despite assurances by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that it is fully prepared to conduct the rescheduled Presidential and National Assembly elections tomorrow, Saturday, February 23, 2019, a Pastor of the Assemblies of God Church has predicted that the polls would not hold.
Rev. Evans Paul Chimeremeze told News Express in Umuahia that God is angry with Nigeria and has, therefore, put the 2019 general elections on hold. He further said that President Muhammadu Buhari would not only faint but would run away from Aso Rock Villa should he try to force INEC to go ahead with the polls as planned.
The Abia State-born clergyman who is also the founder of the Praise and Truth Worship Centre at Mgbaja, Amawom Oboro in Ikwuano Local Government Area of the state, revealed that these incidents would take place because God is angry with Nigeria as the country is allegedly being run by ritualists.
He said he had earlier predicted that the February 16, 2019 Presidential and National Assembly elections would not hold, insisting that neither is it going to hold tomorrow as rescheduled.
Rev. Chimeremeze said he received revelations that God wants to liberate Nigeria and her suffering citizens.
“Politicians have killed Nigeria. Most important seats of Nigeria are being occupied by ritualists and God is angry.
“The poor masses are suffering. They cannot afford to buy even the commonest commodity, Kerosene. So God is angry against the leaders,” he said.
Chimeremeze, who spoke with News Express on Friday, said he received the message that elections would not hold until Nigeria undergoes national cleansing while he was praying.
According to him, “As I was praying, I got the revelation that God is about to do something in Nigeria and was looking for who will be his mouthpiece and I accepted to do the work.
“I came on the February 12, 2019 to tell people at the Isigate newsstand that the election scheduled for 16th February, 2019, will not hold, that God is angry with Nigeria. On Friday, somebody reminded me that I said that elections will not hold that our President has gone home to vote. I said what I know is that even if he queues on the line, he will not vote.
“So, on Saturday morning it was announced that the election has been cancelled.”
Continuing, he said: “After this Saturday, it will become clear to the leaders of the country that God is putting the election on hold, that election is not our problem, our problem is the politicians. God wants this nation to be cleansed; it was polluted by former President Olusegun Obasanjo through FESCTAC ’77 and nobody has come up to say let us cleanse this nation because he invited all the foreign idols into Nigeria and they came and displayed their evil powers and exposed Nigeria to ritual culture.
“Since then, none of the Presidents has come up to say God is against idol worship and then cleanse it. And so that is why Nigeria has been have many problems.
“God is looking for somebody who can stand and cleanse this nation through his own directive. That was why God sent Obasanjo to prison and from prison, God brought him back to the seat of power so that he could perform the cleansing but he still failed to do it. He went back to Aso Rock and messed up.
“God says he will not allow them continue and that’s it. There is a secret He told me and He said I should keep it secret. So I don’t want to say it openly until the President comes to Abia State and I will tell him this is what God says.”
Rev. Chimeremeze said after this Saturday, if Buhari fails to come to Abia to take God’s from him, the President will run away from his office because God is going to visit him seriously. Not only him will run away, but all those occupying important seats in this nation who are ritualists must run away from their offices.
“If any person wants to force the election to hold, that person will faint and be rushed to the hospital and the person will remain in the hospital and announce to others that God is angry with Nigeria,” he said.
