Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has approved the appointment of Mr. Williams Adesoji Eniade, a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youths and Sports, as the state Acting Head of Service (HOS).

Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Dr. Festus Adedayo, made this known in a statement he issued yesterday in Ibadan. Adedayo said Eniade had already assumed duties the previous day (Wednesday, August 6).

Born on April 31, 1959, Mr. Eniade obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of Ibadan in 1981, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 1997. Eniade, who hails from Lagelu Local Government Area of the state, is married with three children.

He joined the services of the Oyo State Government on February 8, 1983 as Administrative Officer II, and rose through the ranks to become a Permanent Secretary on July 3, 2009.

Congratulating Eniade on his appointment, Governor Ajimobi charged him to discharge his duties with absolute loyalty, integrity, dedication, diligence and professionalism, to further promote and enhance the attainment of the goals of government at all times.
