The National Judicial Council has given Justice Walter Onnoghen and the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Mohammed (CFR), seven days to respond to petitions written against them, a report from Abuja said.
"The NJC gave the ultimatum on Tuesday during an emergency meeting which took place in Abuja, the nation’s capital," according to a breaking news broadcast by Channels Television.
