Weather Report: NiMET predicts sunny and hazy Sunday

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Sunday, January 20, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy condition is anticipated over this region

throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 34 – 38℃ and 16 – 20℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over the region with chances of thundery activities over Minna, Abuja, Lokoja, Nasarwa and Makurdi in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38℃ and 17 – 21℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy morning is expected over the region with chances of localised thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 35 – 38℃ and 20 – 25℃ respectively.
