The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has made the following predictions about Nigeria’s weather condition for today, Saturday, January 19th, 2019:

NORTHERN STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are likely over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 31 - 37℃ and 13 - 20℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Sunny and hazy conditions are expected to prevail over the region throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 36 - 37℃ and 16 - 24℃ respectively except for Jos where temperature values are expected to be 30℃ and 13℃.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the region during the morning giving way to sunny conditions over the inland cities and chances of localised thunderstorms over Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Yenagoa, Calabar and Eket in the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the ranges of 33 - 38℃ and 17 - 26℃ respectively.
