Immigration promotes 1,899

The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Muhammad Babandede, has approved the promotion of 1, 899 personnel.

This approval followed the November 2018 the promotion exercise.

The breakdown showed that 13 Assistant Inspectors were promoted to Inspector (II); 594 Senior Immigration Assistants became Chief Immigration Assistants; 949 Immigration Assistants 1 were promoted Senior Immigration Assistant; 329 Immigration Assistants 2 became Immigration Assistant 1; while 14 Immigration Assistants 3 became Immigration Assistant 2.

A statement yesterday by Service Public Relations Officer, Sunday James, said the CGI called on the officers to remain loyal to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
