Executive Chairman of the Nelson Mandela Garden at the Asaba International Airport, Mr Newton Jibunoh, has said that the facilities and services at the newly opened hotels will be comparable to what obtains in Dubai.

He noted that the garden comprises five-star hotel suites, swimming pool and restaurant, among others.

Jibunoh said: “Five years ago, I decided to bring in from Dubai to Asaba what will attract tourists to Nigeria and the state. As you can see, we have experienced first international flight in Asaba Airport. We want all the facilities in the airport environs to be owned by our people and you can be sure that within six to seven years, there will be a return on investment.

“Besides, this is a garden that people can come from far and near to have a relaxation. The Asaba International Airport is here to make it work; we urge participants to key into these investments by buying units, and to attract foreigners to invest here, the international community needs to see you investing in your country before they will come to invest.”
