The House of Representatives on Tuesday resolved to receive President Muhammad Buhari on Wednesday for the presentation of the 2019 Appropriation Bill.
The President is expected to present the bill before the joint session of the National Assembly.
The House resolution was sequel to the adoption of a motion by the Leader, Femi Gbajabiamila, who represents Lagos East, at the plenary presided over by the Deputy Speaker, Yussuf Lassun.
In the motion, Gbajabiamila urged the House to support the President to come perform his constitutional functions.
When put to a voice vote, some members in the house were in support as others shouted against the motion.
The deputy speaker, however, ruled to allow the president to present the 2019 Appropriation.
