A 65-year-old man in the early hours of Sunday morning died while having sex with a 34-year lady, Ifeoma Ayinka, an indigene of Agu-ukwu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State. The deceased is said to be a Knight, a senior journalist and a former Managing Director of a state media establishment.
Information gathered by News Express has it that the randy man, identified as Obi Nwoda, had arrived Desires and Leisure Hotel located along Enugu/Onitsha Expressway but never came out with the lady when she exited the hotel, which raised suspicions.
Confirming the incident, the State Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Haruna Mohammed, said: “At about 8:15pm on 10/11/2018, there was a report by the management of Desires and Leisure Hotel Agu Awka at ‘B’ Division that on the same date at about 5pm, one Ifeoma Ayinka ‘F’, aged 34 years of Agu-Ukwu in Aniocha LGA who came to lodge in the hotel with One Obi Nwoda ‘M’ aged 65 years of the same address, was leaving the hotel premises without the said man and when confronted and taken back to the hotel room, they discovered that the man was lying unconscious on the bed.
“Upon receipt of the complaint, the scene was visited by Police Patrol team attached to ‘B’ division led by the DPO, CSP Odion Ekeinde, and the victim was rushed to Apex Hospital Awka where he was confirmed dead on arrival by the medical Doctor. His corpse was photographed and deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy.”
According to Mohammed, the woman alleged that the victim collapsed while making love to her.
He said that the case is under investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident even as the woman has been arrested.
When News Express visited the hotel, the place looked deserted. Two members of staff of the hotel who were approached for comment were evasive with information, saying that the police is already handling the matter.
