Osinbajo to Nigerians: Monitor use of nation’s resources

•Vice President Osinbajo visits Ibadan, Oyo State on October 27, 2018.

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has called on Nigerians to pay more attention to how the nation’s resources are being managed.

He made the call while addressing youths at a public lecture held at the University of Ibadan in Oyo State.

Speaking on the theme ‘Developing the Nation through Youth Empowerment’, Professor Osinbajo called on young people in the country to be vigilant and take their leaders into account.

The Vice President also urged them to ask more questions otherwise, the country’s commonwealth would go under in no distant time.

According to him, the Federal Government is investing in infrastructure and job creation to ensure Nigeria does not return to the old days.

Professor Osinbajo stressed the need for the government at various levels to focus on technology and innovation.

He said the move is necessary because the future of jobs for the Nigerian youth depends on it.

Upon his arrival in Ibadan, the Vice President was received by Governor Abiola Ajimobi and top officials of the state government.
