Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday took to the major road in Owerri, the Imo State capital to protest over the alleged imposition of candidates by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

They are also protesting over the alleged issuance of automatic tickets by the party’s NWC.

The protesters blocked the Government House roundabout in the state capital carrying placards with various inscriptions, urging the APC NWC to rescind its decision on imposition of candidates and issuance of automatic tickets to some serving Federal lawmakers in the state.
