NAFEST 2018 begins in Port Harcourt

All is now set for the National Festival of Arts and Culture tagged NAFEST Rivers 2018 in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital which kicks off today, Saturday, October 20, 2018.

A statement by the Festival Media/Publicity Committee said that advanced teams from all the states of the federation arrived Port Harcourt, the Garden City, yesterday ahead of the registration of participants slated for today through Sunday.

The statement added that the time for registration of participants for the festival is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day at Dr. Obi Wali International Conference Center, Port Harcourt.

The statement noted that the registration of participants would be followed by a Waste-to-Wealth Training/Skill Acquisition on Monday, October 22, by 9 a.m. at Dr Obi Wali International Conference Center, Port Harcourt.

Also on Monday, October 22, is for Free Medical Service at 10am, and Balloting for Presentation of Competitive Events by 4 p.m.

Port Harcourt the Rivers State capital, according to the Media/Publicity Committee of NAFEST Rivers 2018, is already in a joyous mood ahead of the event.

We therefore enjoined the good people of the Rivers State to turn out in their numbers and oblige the august visitors the usual traditional hospitality of Rivers people.
