A group supporting the candidature of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, Grassroots Network 4 Atiku (GNA) 2019 has promised to mobilize 10 million votes for him.

National Coordinator of the group, Barrister Isa Mohammed disclosed this in Bauchi on Monday. He said the group is mobilising support for Atiku from people that have Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs).

According to him, they have contacted over three million Nigerians at the grassroots who have permanent voters card and they have all pledged their votes for Atiku while promising to reach out to other Nigerians with PVCs for Atiku to win the presidential election in 2019‎.
The group, however, faulted the travel restrictions on 50 Nigerians by President Muhammadu Buhari.

It calls the decision as sheer fascism, illegal and lack of respect for the rule of law as well as the violation of the affected persons’ fundamental human right as guaranteed in the 1999 constitution.
