APC Presidential Primaries: Amosun commends members for large turnout in Ogun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has commended party faithful, for the huge turnout recorded during the Presidential Direct Primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), held in the 236 wards throughout the state yesterday.

Amosun, who was the returning officer for the state, spoke while monitoring the exercise at the Ajura Ward 4, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of the state.

He appreciated the response of the party members to the primaries, which had President Muhammadu Buhari as the consensus presidential candidate for the 2019 Presidential poll.

This, according to him, was a demonstration of their acceptance of the president, who he noted, is committed to ensuring the emergence of a more prosperous Nigeria.

The governor restated the commitment of his administration to the development of the education and housing sectors, among others, as well as the completion of road projects across the state.

He enjoined the people to be hospitable towards investors, to ensure the rapid development of the state and eventual success of his administration’s rebuilding mission.
