The traditional ruler of Nneise Nvosi Autonomous Community, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government, Abia State, Prof. B. O. Dike, has drummed support for the reelection bid of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu.

Dike, a Professor of Political Philosophy, who was on a courtesy visit to the Ag. Rector of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, Prof. Ezionye Eboh, while enumerating the achievements of the governor, said that he was particularly excited by the revolution Governor Ikpeazu has caused in the Aba leather industry.

According to him, Aba leather products are now competing favourably in the international market.

He said that equity demands that the governor completes two terms to ensure that Abia South is at par with other senatorial zones in the state.

In his response, Prof Eboh commended the traditional ruler for undertaking the task of ensuring that the governor is reelected in 2019.

Prof Eboh, who described the governor as God-sent, noted that Ikpeazu his performed creditably and deserves a second term.

He commended the efforts of Senator Theodore Orji in ensuring that Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, is upgraded to a federal polytechnic.

The Acting Registrar of the institution, Mrs. Comfort Nwabughuogu, in her vote of thanks prayed for the successes of Governor Ikpeazu and Senator Orji in their reelection bids.
