The convoy of Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Monday involved in a “serious” road crash, the Federal Road Safety Corps has said.

FRSC Sector Commander, Federal Capital Territory, Mr Wobin Gora, confirmed the development to newsmen in Abuja.

Gora, who said he was yet to get full details of the incident, however, confirmed that the Governor was not travelling with the convoy where the accident occurred.

An eyewitness, however, said the convoy was involved in a very serious accident as a result of speeding of his drivers.
