Akwa Ibom State First Lady, Mrs. Ekaete Unoma Akpabio, has joined the list of authors.

Her book, “The Voice of a Jewel” is scheduled for presentation to the public soon.

The book captures the “dreams, challenges and conquests” of Mrs. Akpabio, who is well known for her philanthropic work.

The book, copies of which were sighted by News Express, is of moderate volume and comes as a hard cover. It is not clear if a soft cover edition would be later produced for those who may not be able to afford the hard cover.

News Express reports that writing is not a craft usually identified with first ladies in Nigeria and that the book, the first by Mrs. Akpabio, tends to cast her in the mould of an intellectually-inclined First Lady.

Mrs. Akpabio, 41, has a degree in Education Accounting from the Abia State University, Uturu. She loves reading, travelling and philanthropy.
