Two married women fight dirty over widower

Two married women, a civil servant and a petty trader (names withheld) at the weekend engaged in a brawl over a widower in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The widower, Chiemeziem, a commercial bus driver based in Okpoko is said to be dating the two married women who have also both given him a child each in the course of the relationship.

Though the women both know they were dating the same man, it was learnt that the widower had severally advised them to tolerate eachother, and see themselves as partners, rather than rivals.

According to a source close to the commercial bus driver fondly called Emeziem, he said trouble started when the trader broke the rules by visiting on the day meant for her rival.

The source said: “The trader was already with Emeziem when her civil servant rival showed up, and as expected, heated argument ensued.

“The quarrel was uncontrollable that pushed both of them out of the house, locked the apartmen,t and left in anger.

“All attempts to broker peace between them by neighbours and sympathisers were unsuccessful as the quarrel continued till they stripped themselves naked.”

He recalled that the widower had at some point threatened to dismiss any of them that caused quarrel, saying: “He even had to draw a roaster for their visits to ensure peace, and forestall clash in the double-dating game.”

Information reaching News Express, however, has it that following the brawl, the widower has cut off ties with both women.
