The Postgraduate School of the University of Ibadan, in its bid to further contribute its quota to the ongoing deliberations at the National Conference, has organised a symposium entitled “The National Conference: Getting It Right This Time.” The event is billed to hold at the Trenchard Hall, on Thursday, May 29, by 10 a.m.
The symposium will bring together some notable and lead speakers from the academia to discuss salient issues touching the unity of the country.
Some of the lead speakers are Prof. Eghosa Osaghae, Vice-Chancellor, Igbinedion University, Okada, who shall speak on “Structure of the Country and Form of Government”; Prof Ademola Ariyo, Chairman, Board of Directors, University of Ibadan School of Business (UISB), shall speak on “Revenue Allocation and Resource Control” while Prof A.A.B. Agbaje, immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics) and Director-General, Obafemi Awolowo Foundation, would speak on “Policing, Elections and Immunity.”
The keynote address shall be delivered by Prof. Dupe Olatunbosun (OON).
