Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has advised his estranged political godfather, George Akume to stop castigating him and present his scorecard for the past 12 years before seeking re-election to the National Assembly.

Ortom, who gave the charge through his Special Adviser on Media and ICT, Tahav Agerzua yesterday, maintained that rather than continue to abuse him, Akume should concern himself with highlighting his achievements to his constituents.

He wondered why certain politicians arrogate powers to themselves, insisting that power belongs to God.
