Anambra Govt. to host techno whizkids who won global competition in America

•The five students of Regina Pacis Model Secondary School

Five female students of Regina Pacis Secondary School, Onitsha who recently won gold medal in a Technovation competition in far-away Silicon Valley, San Francisco, United States are to be given a grand reception by the State Government.

It was learnt that the occasion was being organised to appreciate the students for making the “Light of The Nation” state proud outside the shores of Nigeria.

The teenagers which include, 16 years old Miracle Igboke, Adaeze Onuigbo (15), Jessica Osita (14), Vivian Okoye (14), Promise Nnalue (14) and Nwabuaku Ossai (14) were led to the competition by their mentor, Uchenna Onwuamaegbu Ugwu.

The team was received on arrival to the country on Monday were received by state government officials at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos.

The app which they won the competition with is said to be used in the detection of fake drug.
