The Biafra Nations Youth League (BNYL) has reacted angrily to the announcement by the Nigeria Army that it plans to commence Operation Python Dance 3 in the South East.

BNYL, in a statement issued over the weekend, said the Nigerian military was trying to cause confusion as well create tension in the region.

Deputy Leader of the group, Ebuta Ogar Takon, warned that the proposed military exercise could result to unrest in the region.

“This is meaningless. If the Army want to test their weight they should go to Sambisa or engage herdsmen or better still engage Cameroon Military who are busy abducting Nigerians at the border. I don’t see any sense to this and we won’t take it,” BNYL said.

The group lauded the US for closure of its Consular Office in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, advising the US Government to recognise Biafra, as “Nigeria is a failed State and the world is becoming tired of her.”
