Gov Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has been reported to have escaped plot to assassinate him.
According to a tweet by Lere Olayinka on his Twitter handle quoted by Vanguard, "Fayose is currently receiving treatment at govt house clinic after he was hit by teargas canister fired by the policemen."
The tweet said that armed policemen are still laying siege at the Ekiti Government House in Ado-Ekiti.
