Air Peace, Apostle Suleman dismiss fake ‘prophecy’ of impending crashes

One of Nigeria’s carriers, Air Peace and Omega Fire Ministries has dismissed a trending recorded voice, warning members of the public not to travel on some transport companies, including the airline, on certain days.

Air Peace Corporate Communications Manager, Mr. Chris Iwarah said the voice message was the handiwork of fraudsters disguising as the renowned leader of Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleiman to spread fear and de-market the airline.

He confirmed that the airline contacted the church allegedly behind the recorded voice message and the latter dismissed the warning as a product of fraudsters and impostors seeking to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.

According to the trending message which was also sent to our correspondent, members of the public were asked to avoid travelling with the transport companies including Abia Line, Benue Link, GUO, among others on Saturday, June 23.

However, another version of the audio claimed people should not travel on the listed companies on June 20.

But Air Peace dismissed all the messages being circulated in different versions and assured members of the public of their safety at all times.  (Daily Trust)
