There was a mild drama as the security detail attached to the outgoing National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, was barred from entering Eagle Square.

The Police in a statement yesterday by Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood said only one aide will be allowed to follow their principals into the venue of the convention.

He warned that all unauthorised individuals and groups who have no business with the convention to steer clear of the venue.

He said the full weight of the law will be applied on any person or group of persons who try to disrupt the orderliness and conduct of the convention.   (Daily Trust)
