The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won all 13 local government areas and 147 electoral wards in the election held at the weekend in Nasarawa State.
The chairman of Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASEIC), Henry Omaku, who declared the result yesterday in Lafia, said that three political parties, including ADP, APC and SDP fielded candidates for the chairmanship positions but that the APC clinched all the seats. Omaku commended security operatives for ensuring peaceful conduct and the domestic and national observers for the success of the election.
