Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has advised political aspirants in the State to conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
Okowa who made the call during the Delta North Senatorial meeting held in Asaba recently. He expressed his concern as a son of Anioma that aspirants should order their campaigns in a matured manner.
Governor Okowa assured Deltans of free, fair and credible primaries as regards the forthcoming general elections in 2019. He advised all Local government chairmen to prove themselves in their various positions to avoid being sacked unceremoniously in the coming elections.
Talking about the new State Secretariat building in one quarter, he said that Deltans should know that the benefit is far better than what they think. Okowa encouraged voters to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to enable them to exercise their civic responsibility as citizens of this country.
Meanwhile, Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko, a PDP Delta North senatorial aspirant in 2019, said he will reposition the senatorial zone if he is elected to the upper chamber. He praised Senator Okowa for making the zone proud. He said that the people of Ndokwa/Ukwuani have suffered a lot of environmental degradation, adding that if he is given the mandate he will do something positive to alleviate their suffering.
