A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, Ohiri O. Lewis, has commiserated with the wife of the governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu, over the tragic death of two women following a fatal accident involving one of the vehicles in her convoy.

In a statement made available to the media, Ohiri also known as NG-1 Designer, described the incident as “very unfortunate and a monumental loss to the state and the deceased families”.

While extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and government of Abia State under the leadership of Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ohiri also prayed God to grant the affected families the grace and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

He, however, urged the governor and government of Abia State to urgently retrain all convoy drivers to reinvent their consciousness towards good driving and traffic codes to among other things forestall further occurrences of such unfortunate incident.
