Weatherman projects clouds and sunny conditions today, with isolated thunderstorms

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Thursday, March 15, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to sunny conditions are anticipated over most parts of the northern cities during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 38 – 41℃ and 17 – 28℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Chances of partly cloudy conditions are likely over the region during the morning hours with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Makurdi, Mambilla Plateau and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 34 – 39℃ and 22 – 26℃ respectively, except over Jos where 31℃/15℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are probable over most parts of the inland cities during the morning hours while localised thunderstorms are anticipated over Iseyin, Shaki, Akure, Oshogbo, Benin, Abakaliki, Enugu, Owerri, Delta, Warri and its environs during the afternoon/evening hours. The coastal cities are expected to be cloudy with chances of isolated thunderstorms over Yenagoa, Port Harcourt, Calabar, Eket and its environs during the morning hours while most part of the region are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon/evening hours. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 31 – 37℃ and 22 – 27℃ respectively.
