Recently inaugurated Liberian President, George Weah, is currently being hosted by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

“Both Presidents are currently in a closed-door meeting,” said a Channels TV report.

Weah, a former international football star, was sworn in as Liberia’s new president on January 22, 2018, in the country’s first transition between democratically-elected leaders since 1944.

Weah, 51, took over from Nobel laureate Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who spent 12 years at the helm, steering the West African nation away from the trauma of a civil war.
