Weatherman forecasts dust haze conditions, reduced visibility today

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has made the following predictions about the country’s weather condition for today, Wednesday, January 31, 2018:

NORTHERN STATES: Thick dust haze conditions are expected over most parts of this region during the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 26 – 31℃ and 11 – 17℃ respectively.

CENTRAL STATES: Dust haze conditions are expected to prevail over most parts of the region with visibility range of 1 – 3km; localised visibility of less than or equal to 1,000m throughout the forecast period. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 29 – 37℃ and 14 – 22℃ respectively, except over Jos where 27℃ /10℃ day and night temperatures are expected.

SOUTHERN STATES: Hazy conditions are probable over the coastal cities during the forecast period with chances of partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Day and night temperature values are expected to be in the range of 32 – 37℃ and 15 – 26℃ respectively.
